Erie Lawyer Asked to Serve Second Consecutive Term

August 25, 2011, ERIE, PA -- Eric J. Purchase has been asked by the Erie County Bar Association to chair the organization's Civil Litigation Section for a second consecutive year. The section is responsible for providing education, programs and services to Erie County lawyers who represent clients in civil cases in the Court of Common Pleas of Erie County and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

This is the third time Mr. Purchase has been named by his peers to act as Chairman of the Erie County Bar Association's Civil Litigation Section. Mr. Purchase also serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, as a delegate in the Pennsylvania Bar Association's House of Delegates and as the Zone 7 Representative to the PBA's political action committee.
