June, 2010, ERIE, PA --  The Erie injury lawyers at Purchase & George, P.C. are pleased to continue the tradition begun by Tim George of being a major sponsor for the Shillelagh Golf Tournament Open held at Riverside Country Club.  The annual charity event benefits the Barber National Institute which offers a complete range of services for children and adults with special needs. 

The Barber National Institute provides early intervention for infants and toddlers, an inclusive pre-school, the Autism Center for Excellence, an approved private school, job training and placement, residential options including community group homes, Lifesharing and supportive living programs, in-home services, specialized therapies and behavioral therapy, a creative arts program and retirement center.

The Barber National Institute main campus and administrative headquarters are located on the shores of Lake Erie.  Since 1990 it has provided group homes and adult day services in Philadelphia.  In 2000, the Barber National Institute opened residential group homes in the suburban Pittsburgh area.  The Barber National Institute employs more than 2,000 staff members who are dedicated to providing the highest quality education and care with respect, compassion and encouragement.
