January 18, 2011, Fairview, PA -- A fatal Erie County car accident happened on Route 5 this morning at 4:20 a.m. Justin Felegie, 25, of Lake City, was driving a Ford Focus when he lost control and struck a utility pole, eventually coming to rest in the westbound lane of Route 5 with his headlamps out.

Jamie Reinhardt, 24, was driving a Honda Odyssey minivan west when she encountered Mr. Felegie's vehicle and failed or was unable to stop before colliding head-on with the Ford Focus. Mr. Felegie was fatally injured, reportedly as a result of the second crash, and was pronounced dead at Hamot Hospital.

Ms. Reinhardt was also injured in the accident. She was taken to Hamot where she was treated and released.
